James Brokenshire will mark Remembrance Sunday by attending the Civic Service of Remembrance at St John the Evangelist Church, Bexley where he will read a lesson. James will then follow the Mayor of Bexley in laying a wreath at the war memorial in Bexley Village.
Later in the day the MP will join other community leaders at the Festival of Remembrance at St Michael's Church, East Wickham.
“It remains important that we remember all those men and women who served their country and paid the ultimate price” James said. “It is through their courage and sacrifice that we enjoy the freedoms that - too often - we take for granted today.”
