James visits new Blackfen Community Library

James Brokenshire has welcomed the opening of the new Blackfen Community Library with a visit to see the newly refurbished library space and to meet with the staff and volunteers that have helped create this fantastic new community space.

James Brokenshire joined the Mayor of Bexley, Cllr Sybil Camsey, to re-open McDonald’s in Sidcup following a thorough refurbishment, adding new furniture, modifying the layout and installing a new order system which allows for food to be purchased from touch screens.

Office for Rail & Road to investigate Network Rail performance

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) have responded to James Brokenshire’s complaint about Network Rail’s reliability on the Southeastern network, pledging to undertake detailed analysis and enforcement action should it be found that Network Rail have breached the terms of its licence.

James welcomes Budget

James Brokenshire has welcomed the measures set out in the Chancellor’s Budget Statement in which he announced a further increase in the Personal Tax Allowance, changes designed to support savers and young people and additional help for small businesses.

Network Rail announces Easter closures
