At 11pm we will leave the European Union and finally honour the result of the 2016 referendum. After all of the political tumult and damaging instability of the last three years we can now move Britain forward.
Undoubtedly, there will be a mixture of feelings at this significant moment in our country's proud history - but this is not a time for triumphalism nor rancour. Rather, it is the start of a new chapter. One where we have the chance to fulfil our country's potential & reassert our place in the world. Outward looking but without turning our backs on our European friends and allies.
There are clear challenges ahead and divisions to heal. But at this time we should have faith in the British people and be positive about what we can achieve together.
