Blackfen Business Boost

James Brokenshire has welcomed the opening of a new business as a further boost for local jobs.  Spice 2 Go – the UK’s first Indian takeaway franchise chain - have chosen Blackfen as the location for their first London store.

The new opening is expected to create 20-30 new jobs.  The company is expected to grow rapidly in the coming months with planned store openings in Bristol and more London locations. The franchise chain already has stores in Swansea and Cardiff.

James joined the Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Sharon Massey, at Spice 2 Go Sidcup’s official opening on Saturday.  Commenting, James said:

“I welcome Spice 2 Go’s decision to locate their first store in England in Blackfen.  It’s a positive statement of business confidence in this area and a further boost for local jobs. I wish Spice2Go all success with the new business venture.”
